In The News –  Mold
Here are some tips if you plan to clean up the mold in your home:
* Make sure you are free of allergy and/or asthma symptoms.

* Small areas of mold should be cleaned using a solution of household bleach and water. Mix 1 part bleach to 10 parts water and add a bit of liquid dish to the mix to cut any dirt or oil.
* Apply the bleach and water mixture to the moldy surface with a sponge, let it sit for 5 minutes, then dry the surface thoroughly.
* Open all windows providing adequate ventilation.
* Dispose of any sponges or rags used in cleaning the mold.
* After removing the mold, consider preventing reoccurrences by using one of these fine products:
