DampRid

The original DampRid de-moisturizing bucket prevents mildew, mold and other musty odors. It's ideal for use in closets, recreational vehicles and more. DampRid helps remove excess moisture from the air by controlling humidity (excess moisture) to an ideal and safe level. DampRid will not dry out the air to a level that damages plants, animals or clothing. Once the optimal level is reached, 40-50% relative humidity, DampRid slows down and will restart when mecessary.

How DampRid works - Once the pellets are exposed to the air, they will absorb excess moisture and liquify into a brine (salt solution). Once all the white pelletts have dissolved, empty the liquid in a sink and refill your container with fresh pelletts to one inch of the top.

Other uses for DampRid:
Melts 4 times as much ice as rock salt.
Safer for plants than rock salt.
